Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is a new Facebook game based on the Show of the same title. The free to play social game Spartacus is made by 6 Wave, a Hong Kong-based social game maker behind a great number of titles including Ravenwood Fair, Simply Hospital, Legacy of Rome, and Legacy of a Thousand Suns.

Whether you’re a fan of Starz’ hit series Spartacus or just like the passion, glory, and blood of a good gladiator fight, you’ll love playing Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, coming to the 6waves network on Facebook this January!

Co-developed by Starz Digital Media and Large Animal Games, the game lets players take on the role of the “lanista,” manager of gladiators. Players will buy, train, and battle their legions against their friends’ to earn honor and glory across top arenas throughout the Roman Empire. As times were different then, a little bribery and poison will also go a long way!

With stunning visuals inspired by the show and lots of plot tie-ins with the upcoming season’s episodes, this game promises to provide a truly engaging and memorable cross-media experience for fans and players alike.
