Greg’s Lighting 1.6.2 Mod
Are you tired of having to a lot of torches around your modern looking houses? I mean, sure, redstone lamps may look a bit better than the usual torches and glowstone, but they’re more suited to your personal house.
Where you can kick back in your chair, read a book, and whatnot. This mod adds in two (three for IC2 users) new, more powerful lights, that look more suited to your factories. They’re also a whole lot cheaper than making a bunch of redstone lamps.
All you have to do is put the lamps on your ceiling or walls, if your house is really wide. The lamps work by shooting a 1×1 column of invisible, intangible blocks that let light off like any other light source. The Unpowered Floodlight only needs a redstone signal to work. The Carbide Floodlight needs water, Calcium Carbide, and a redstone signal. The IC2 Electric Floodlight needs 1EU/t and an optional redstone signal. The invisible blocks provide light with a radius of 15 blocks, excluding the center.
