Following up on yesterday’s post on the Craft of Gods launch, MMORPG.com has released a detailed article previewing the game.
Although Craft of Gods was made on a smaller budget and is initially looking for a smaller audience, it offers some neat incentives that will draw gamers to its doorstep. Perhaps the boldest entry in this ideal is that Craft of Gods does away with classes and has a more open system as players choose from the “fourteen schools” the game offers in terms of abilities and lets you craft your own hybrid from there. You want to be a mage/archer or a warrior/thief, its all up to you, making for a large variety of different character mash-ups.
However, on the flip side, the preview mentioned that the game has a lot of problems including old-looking visuals and a general “lack of polish.”
Whether Craft of Gods can overcome its flaws and stand out in the crowded arena of MMO’s, only time will tell.
